Nice response siritiar. yes, I am also censored on SA, then they have the gaul to publish my articles at times as well. Ive even been censored from 100% non critical comments as well. SA is a big joke. Not even worth clicking to be honest. Benzinga is a much more non descript, non agenda site that features our work.

SA jerks started censoring my responses after multiple criticisms of so called writers on their site.

Their flagship basher Pendola is asking now what is next for sirius xm. This question is beyond the intelligence of a five year old.

Next is that Mel will announce February 2011 and Q4 results where they will beat EBIDTA by at least $60M with a final number in the range if $765 to $790MM. I expect fcf at about $415. Most importantly, Mel may update conservatively, as he always does, 2012 guidance to $900M EBIDTA and $750M fcf with revenue at $3.4B.

I want these jokers to choke on these numbers for all dirt, lies and bile they have been pouring on the company all these years.

Enjoyed reading all of the above – including the excellent comments. Thanks for summing up all the reasons why Sirius XM will remain the dominant force in the radio industry for many years to come. Terrestrial radio and Pandora playlist look alikes will be left in the dust.

Hey Wolf Child, good to hear from you. I disagree with them being one step behind, because they are competing with terrestrial radio, who is 100 steps behind. As for timetables on products promised, so far nothing has been breached. The next big idea will come using your lynx radio, as it is android based and now 100% upgradeable. Innovation is here my friend, just be patient with its implementation. Who else are they behind? Pandora? Pandora is light years behind. So not sure who they are “behind”. Or what tech is better for radio. Lynx is the greatest radio ever made, with the greatest content ever conceived in radio history.

One comment Maffei made a while back is that they would buy “a company” if they felt they could run it better than the current Management team. It would be hard to argue that Liberty may be able to do just that.

Sirius has simply been moving too slow to keep up with the competition starting with the first iPhone app all the way to a belated Christmas gift that will be 2.0 (Lynx, not Edge or 2.0 app). They are always 2 steps behind which has drawn a lot of fire from critics, investors and subscribers. I’m sure Liberty and probably Ergen have had many conversations about how much more they could do with Sirius and at a faster rate if they were running the show. Mel has become very proficient with touting his charts and slides but where is the innovation? Where’s the next big idea or partnership?

I still believe SXM is the best listening option and so the end result will favor investors but a little more action couldn’t hurt….. Or at least tell us what the course of action is for God sakes.

No one really knows how their percentage would work on a buyback. Of course Liberty would be interested in selling some of their stake slowly back to sirius xm. I see that over adding. I could see nothing too. The percentage issue might come down to the courts, imo.
